This is basically a book which comes with numerous magnetic figures, which you place on the pages as you tell the story. There is a section at the front of the book to store the magnets so they don't get lost. The text is fairly minimal, but each page has lovely pictures where you can place the magnetic figures. My son was bought this for his 4th birthday and he loves it. We put the figures on the pages and then move them around and create our own story. This is a great toy for capturing a young child's imagination. The carrying handle makes it nice for a child to carry themselves. It's ideal to take out to keep a child amused eg. on a long journey or in a restaurant.

I bought this for my 3 year old nephew who is in a Pirate phase. Not only does he love to have you read / play this story with him and interact with all the magnets he is very proud to show everyone the magnets and carry it as his special 'Pirate' book. Only a few sections to the book and the story is simple but the fun is the characters and the clasp and handle that make it so special. For the price it has been a fantastic book.

I used this with some 3-5 year olds and they loved to place the characters on each page and talked about what they were doing. They loved this book and so do I. Would recommend this book. One downside was that some of the magnets were a bit bent but worked great with a little bending.

I bought this for my 3 year old and he loves it and contionues to love it aged 4. I think this bits may be a bot fiddly and frustrating for younger kids. A good book to take out for entertainment in a restaurant.
