So in an attempt to see her fairy tale ringtrue, Jill invites Dragon out of the book so she can teachhim some alternative life skills.Dragon throws himself into all of Jill's favourite things:flower arranging, fashion styling, playing the trumpet, and hosting a tea party, with disappointing results. When it seems like all hope is lost, Jill and Dragondiscover Dragon has one very unique, and palatable, hidden talent...A stunning debut from an exciting illustrator, Jill andDragon introduces a feisty, independent-minded newcharacter in Jill, and reminds us that everyone has atalent, however well hidden.

Beautiful illustrations and wonderful story. A book for adults as much as for grown ups.

Great illustrations, I did find the story a bit hard to follow and i had to explain the plot to my three year old quite a lot. I do love it though and I'm glad it's in our book collection.

This is a really fun and beautiful book about finding your talent and writing your own story. With a bit of help from his friends, goofy but good-natured Dragon literally breaks out of the standard knights-in-shining-armour tale, with unexpected (and tasty!) results. The artwork is truly stunning. There's so much character in every page and each time I've read it I've found some new detail to enjoy. There's nothing else like it, a kind of medieval tapestry with a quick-witted heroine. Jill and Dragon is a delight, highly recommended!
